Warranty and RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Policy

Lifetime Labor Warranty

Apex Gaming PCs is proud to provide a lifetime labor warranty, ensuring that customers do not incur labor costs for standard hardware warranty repairs. If your system was purchased during a period with a different warranty offer, it is now automatically covered under our Lifetime Labor Warranty.

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty, along with any extended warranty, does not cover damage resulting from accidents (e.g., water damage, electrical shorts, fire), misuse, or environmental factors. Issues related to games, Windows, or drivers are also excluded from hardware repairs, but we offer support for these matters and may provide solutions at no charge.

Damage caused by unauthorized modifications or improper handling is not covered. Apex Gaming PCs reserves the right to deny warranty claims if the damage is determined to fall under these exclusions.

All warranties are void if the system has been worked on by a third party, such as a local repair shop or Best Buy. Bills for services or parts from third parties will not be covered by Apex Gaming PCs.

Apex Gaming PCs will only ship parts to third-party repair shops for customers located outside the United States or in Hawaii or Alaska if specifically approved by our Customer Service Team. In these cases, the warranty remains valid for work performed by third parties. We strongly encourage customers to send their systems or parts directly to Apex Gaming PCs for free diagnostics and repair under this warranty.

Liability

Apex Gaming PCs is not liable for damages beyond repair costs, including indirect or consequential damages.

Parts Warranty

Warranty Periods

  • For orders placed on or after 09/13/2024, all computer components are covered for two years from the date of delivery.
  • For orders placed before 09/13/2024, components are covered for one year from delivery.

Should a part still be under warranty with the original manufacturer after this period, Apex Gaming PCs will facilitate the replacement or repair at no cost to the customer. Apex or Manik branded parts have an extended five-year warranty, while all other brands are covered for one year.

Replacement Parts

After the initial year, customers must pay for any replacement parts unless the failure is covered under warranty. Damage caused by overclocking the CPU, GPU, or RAM is not covered, nor are accessories or software. Apex Gaming PCs may use new, refurbished, or equivalent parts for replacements and will inform customers of the part’s condition.

Like with labor, replacement parts are not shipped to third-party shops unless the customer is outside the United States or in Hawaii or Alaska. Apex Gaming PCs urges customers to ship their systems or parts directly for free diagnostics and repair.

Unauthorized Modifications

Warranty coverage is void if any unauthorized modifications are made to the system or its components.

Replacement Parts and Shipping

Security Deposit

A valid credit card is required to secure the return of the original part within five business days of receiving the replacement. Failure to return the original part within this timeframe will result in a charge for the MSRP of the replacement part.

Return Shipping

Apex Gaming PCs covers free return shipping for RMA requests made within 60 days of delivery. After 60 days, the customer will be responsible for round-trip UPS shipping costs, including insurance and packaging.

Overclocking

Overclocking not performed by Apex Gaming PCs will void the warranty. We recommend customers thoroughly research before attempting independent overclocking.

RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Policy

Transparency

Following an RMA, we will provide a video of your PC undergoing stress tests to demonstrate its functionality.

Packaging Standards

When returning a system, it must be packed according to the original packaging standards to ensure insurance validity. If damage occurs due to inadequate packaging, the customer will be held responsible.

Exclusions

Please do not return accessories like power cords or peripherals to ensure their safekeeping.

Shipping Liability

Customers are responsible for all shipping-related expenses, including any duties and fees. We recommend insuring the shipment for added protection.

Health and Safety

Systems must be free of third-hand smoke residues, or a $100 cleaning fee may apply. Apex Gaming PCs reserves the right to refuse service if health hazards are detected.

Data Backup

Customers should back up all important data before sending their systems in for service. While we aim to preserve data during repairs, we cannot guarantee data integrity.
